Khan al-Umdan (Inn/Hostel of Pillars), Akko.

7P and 8P: These marble pillars were stolen from the ancient ruins of Caesarea and Atlit

13P: The emblems of the Ottoman Sultans

This large Inn (largest in Israel) was built in 1785 by Ahmed el-Jazzar.  What makes the Khan more special is that some of its 40 marble pillars were actually taken from ancient ruins in Caesarea and Atlit. The clock tower was added only in 1906. Today, there is only restricted access to the Khan due to its poor condition. The Inn was built over a previous Crusader structure.
