The Hill of Offense-Kidron Valley, Jerusalem. The hill where King Solomon erected shrines to heathen dieties, to please his gentile wives (1 Kings 11).

Known as "the Hill of Offense", based on a tradition that it was on this hill that King Solomon erected shrines to heathen dieties, to please his pagan wives (1 Kings 11:1-10). The most prominent structure in the hill today is a guesthouse called, "House of Abraham/Maison d' Abraham". It was founded by Catholic Bishop Rodhain in 1964 at the place of an old Benedictine Monastery. The house provides simple but comfortable accommodations to pilgrims. You can admire the beauty of the Old City of Jerusalem from its outdoor terrace. 'Maison d'Abraham' also offers the best view on the 'City of David' than any where from Jerusalem.
