Situated at the entrance to the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, the Davidson Center is inside an underground storage complex of a 7th century (AD) Palace from Umayyad Period. The center offers the visitor an in-depth archaeological and historical introduction to the Jerusalem Archaeological Park by means of an exhibition of archaeological objects, augmented by visual, textual and audio information. A ten-minute digital video sharing the experience of Second Temple pilgrims with that of present-day visitors and a three-dimensional virtual reconstruction of the Temple are the prime attractions apart from various interesting archaeological findings displayed.
