THROUGH THE LAND OF ISRAEL III: The East-Oriented Triapsidal Crusader Church (1153) of Beit Guvrin. The Church was connected to a fortress behind. It was destroyed by Muslims in 1187 and restored by the Crusaders in 1240s only to get converted into a mosque by the Mameluks (13th to16th century).
