33) Tiferet Israel Synagogue or Nissan Beck Synagogue-Built in 1872, the Tiferet Synagogue was considered to be one of the most beautiful in Jerusalem. During the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, the Jordanian army blew up the synagogue into rubbles and what remains today is only ruins from its western wall.
