Mount of Olives (Famous for Jesus' Ascension to Heaven) and the ancient Jewish Cemetery at its base (with an estimated 150,000 graves)-Jerusalem. Views from Armon HaNatziv Promenade.

P: The three towers you see at background are different churches associated with the life of Jesus, especially with His ascension to heaven.
P: The tower at background is that of Russian Orthodox Church of Ascension in Mount of Olives.
P: Here the towers are more clear. Starting from left, the first tower belongs to Victoria Augusta (Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension). The small tower immediately to the right of Victoria Augusta is part of the Catholic Church of Pater Noster (traditional site where Jesus taught the famous prayer, 'our father who art in heaven'). Finally, the tallest tower in the picture (towards right) is Russian Orthodox Church of Ascension. You can also see the Jewish Cemetery on the slopes of Mount Olives.
P: A more clear view of Victoria Augusta and Pater Noster Churches.
