These white patches are either (1) Remains of huts from Palaeolithic era (40,000 BC) or (2) Geoglyphs: large drawings on ground in geometrical/human/animal shapes.

Geoglyphs are best seen from the air and are considered to be human offerings to an invisible celestial entity
