Ever heard of Daffodils blooming in a desert? To me at least its not a common event. So when I heard it is happening behind our backyards, thought not to miss the golden opportunity. It was also long time since we had a hike from the whole lab participating. Where? Just a few kilometers north of our campus, in the Hatzaz valley. We decided to take the whole day off and did a pleasant hike through the valley to Sede Boker. Do find the photographs below. Thanks to Gideon, Gila and Yigal for organising the trip.
