The Snake Path of Masada Contd. Climbing the famous snake path takes normally 45-60 minutes. At the relatively extreme weather conditions prevailing in Masada, it is a hard experience for many. For the faint hearted there is a cable car that can take you to the mount in 3 minutes. One can always climb down the snake path and it takes usually 30 minutes.
