Palladius Street, Bet Shean

This 150 m long colonnaded street connects amphitheater of Roman Bet Shean to the Tel (ancient Bet Shean). A row of shops opened to the street. Palladius was the Governor of the province whose name appeared in an inscription from the 4th cent AD mosaic, excavated from here.
