Soreq in all sense is the 'Valley of Samson'. The valley where: 1) Samson fought alone for the Israelites; 2) Killed a lion with his bare hands, and went back to lick sweet honey from its carcass; 3) Tied 300 foxes tail to tail in pairs with torches and lit them to burn the fields of the Philistines; 4) Met Delilah who would ultimately bring his downfall by betraying him to the Philistines. His blind love made him reveal the secret of his supernatural strength to her- his mane of hair.
