Euphrates Poplar or Mesopotamian Poplar (Populus euphratica)-Ein Avdat National Park. Is Poplar the 'Willows of Babylon' in Psalm 137?

1P: These Poplar trees are from the lower entrance to Ein Avdat National Park and not part of the groves on the top of the Ein Avdat waterfalls.

"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof" (Psalm 137:1-2). Today, many of the biblical commentators identify poplar with the famous willow mentioned in Psalm 137! Traditional "weeping willow" is however Salix babylonica.
