Hanukkah (Festival of lights) is a relatively new Jewish festival. The festival commemorates the rededication of Jerusalem Temple at the time of Maccabean Revolt in 2nd Century BC. I know its too late to update photographs from an event celebrated more than a month ago. Will be careful next time to be on schedule; so as to not diminish the significance of the date. Anyhow, here are a few snaps from the second day of the eight-day Hanukkah celebrations held in the Synagogue of Midreshet Ben-Gurion, Sede Boker Campus. The primary ritual, according to Jewish law and custom, is to light a single light each night for eight nights.
