The Egyptian Governor's Residence (1550-1200 BC). HaYarkon and Tel Aphek National Park. Oldest remains from Tel Aphek lies beneath these rubbles.

The region has one of the most complicated structures discovered in Tel Aphek. Built one above other, five palaces from the Bronze Age (3300-1200 BC) lie here. What you see today is the last palace belonging to an Egyptian Governor(s) of Aphek in the Late Bronze Era (1550-1200 BC). Archaeologists have discovered rare seals, scrolls and 2 winepresses (one of the earliest known from Israel).
