"Cave of the Syrian Jews" & "Cave of the Curses (Maledictions)", Beit Shearim. Cave with Four Chambers. Don't miss the Carved 7-branched Menorah (4P).

The cave has some very interesting findings to offer. Unfortunately, like most of the caves here, it is not open to public. The image of a vulture, Seven-branched menorah (candelabrum) and 12 inscriptions in Greek and Aramaic are a few to name. One of the inscriptions is a curse that reads "Whoever opens this tomb will eventually die a bad death". Another one in Greek says "The vault (Tomb) of Edysius, head of Council of Elders, a man of Antioch". I have managed to capture the carved seven-branched menorah inside one of these closed and dark caves (see 4P).
