Served as a stone memorial to the memory of the dead.
Large Cistern
It was a burial cave in the beginning. Later became a cistern. Excavations from the area has yielded several pottery vessels, glass vessels and coins from Byzantine Period (5th-6th Cent AD). A few of them had Christian symbols.
