TEL GEZER or BIBLICAL GEZER: A city from the times of Joshua, King David and King Solomon. Mentioned 13 times in the Holy Bible. Remains from 2000 BC.

Located on a hill midway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv overlooking the fertile Ayalon Valley, the position of Gezer at the intersection of an International Highway (from Egypt to North) and the main road leading to Jerusalem, made it strategically very important during Biblical times. Even today, standing at the top of Gezer and looking towards all the possible directions, will make you realize how significant is its location. More details later...
