CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF THE FRIGHT, NAZARETH. Traditional spot from which Mary watched in horror as Jesus was led to a cliff to be thrown down (Luke 4).

Built on the traditional site where Virgin Mary stood when Jesus was led to the edge of the Mountain of Precipice to be thrown away (Luke 4). The Franciscan church was built in 1882 on the site of an earlier Crusader monastery. Near this Church, the Greek Orthodox also has a small Church to commemorate the event. It was built by a Russian woman called Maria Kislivia in 1862 and the structure stands on what was once the Greek Orthodox Bishop’s summer Residence. It is known as the Quasr al-Mutran (Hill of Bishop) Greek Orthodox Church. The photographs taken below are those of the Franciscan Church I guess and not that of Quasr al-Mutran. Needs to confirm that...
